Kitchen Noize started as a personal project to mesh my passion for illustration, hip-hop, and food. Inspired by James Lindsay’s Rap Snacks, this served as a creative way to make parallels between hip-hop artists from different regions and food/kitchen items that connected to their journey.

This project led me to connect with Museum of Food and Drink in Brooklyn, NY. I exhibited the work and spoke on a panel called Culinary Lyricism: Exploring the Intersection of Food and Music in Black Community and Culture.
